Lindsey Graham

Lindsey Olin Graham is an American lawyer and politician who has served as the senior United States senator from South Carolina since 2003. He is a member of the Republican Party and served as the chairman of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary from 2019 to 2021. Born on July 9, 1955, in Central, South Carolina, Graham earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1981. He served in the United States Air Force, primarily with the Judge Advocate General's Corps, from 1982 to 1988, and continued his service concurrently with his congressional career in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. In 2014, Graham was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service, and he held the rank of colonel.
