Lisa Ann Walter (born August 3, 1963) is an American actress, comedian, and television producer. She is best known for her roles as Chessy in the romantic comedy film The Parent Trap and Melissa Schemmenti on the ABC mockumentary sitcom Abbott Elementary. Walter has received recognition for her work, including a Screen Actors Guild Award for her role on Abbott Elementary. She has also been involved in reality television, serving as the creator and executive producer of the weight-loss competition series Dance Your Ass Off. In addition, Walter has appeared as a judge on The Next Best Thing: Who Is the Greatest Celebrity Impersonator? and won a celebrity edition of The Weakest Link. She has created and starred in the sitcom Life's Work and has appeared in various films, including Bruce Almighty, Shall We Dance, and War of the Worlds. Born on August 3, 1963, in Silver Spring, Maryland, Lisa Ann Walter is the daughter of a geophysicist British father.
