Lisa Dwan

Lisa Dwan is an Irish actress, director, and writer known for her work in theatre, film, and television. Born in Coosan, Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland, Dwan originally trained as a ballet dancer and performed with renowned dancer Rudolf Nureyev at the age of 12. She began her acting career as a teenager and made her film debut in the adaptation of Oliver Twist, starring alongside Elijah Wood and Richard Dreyfuss. Dwan gained prominence through her performances in Samuel Beckett adaptations and has become a respected figure in the theatre world. She has appeared in various television shows including Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, Fair City, and Rock Rivals. Dwan currently stars in the Netflix series Top Boy.
