Lisa Kay Biography
Lisa Kay is an English actress known for her work in both stage and screen. Growing up in Levisham on the North York Moors, Kay initially trained as a dancer before retraining as an actress at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic. She made her television debut in the ITV1 series Heartbeat in 2004 and went on to become a cast regular from 2006 until the show's end in 2010, portraying the character of Nurse Carol Cassidy. Kay also appeared in the romantic comedy film Bridget Jones's Diary in 2001. In addition to her work in the UK, she has also worked in Australia, appearing in the soap operas Home and Away and Neighbours.
