Lisa Loring (born Lisa Ann DeCinces; February 16, 1958 – January 28, 2023) was an American actress best known for her portrayal of Wednesday Addams on the 1964-1966 sitcom The Addams Family. Born in Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands, Loring moved to Los Angeles with her mother after growing up in Hawaii. She began her acting career at a young age, appearing in an episode of Dr. Kildare in 1964. Loring's most notable role came as Wednesday Addams, a character she portrayed for the duration of the show's run and later reprised in the TV movie Halloween with the New Addams Family. She was one of the longer-surviving members of the main cast. Loring's mother passed away from alcoholism in 1974 at the age of 34.
