LisaGay Hamilton is an American actress born in 1964. She has had a successful career in film, television, and on stage. Hamilton is best known for her role as Rebecca Washington, the secretary/lawyer, in the ABC legal drama The Practice from 1997 to 2003. She also appeared as Melissa Thoreau in the TNT comedy-drama Men of a Certain Age from 2009 to 2011, Celia Jones in the Netflix series House of Cards in 2016, Suzanne Simms in the Hulu series Chance in 2016, and Kayla Price in the Hulu series The First in 2018. Hamilton has appeared in numerous films, including 12 Monkeys (1995), Jackie Brown (1997), Beloved (1998), and Vice (2018).
