Simbiatu Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, professionally known as Little Simz, is a British-Nigerian rapper, singer, and actress. Born on February 23, 1994, in Islington, London, she gained recognition through the independent release of her first three albums: A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons (2015), Stillness in Wonderland (2016), and Grey Area (2019). The success of Grey Area led to its shortlisting for the Mercury Prize and winning Best Album at both the Ivor Novello Awards and the NME Awards. Her fourth album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert (2021), received critical acclaim and won the 2022 Mercury Prize. In addition to her music career, Simz has appeared in the Netflix series Top Boy.
