Liv Hewson

Liv Hewson is an Australian actor and playwright born on November 29, 1995. They are known for their roles in various movies and TV shows. In the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet, Hewson portrayed the character Abby Hammond from 2017 to 2019. They currently star as Van Palmer in the Showtime series Yellowjackets since 2021. In addition to their acting career, Hewson is also a playwright, with written works that often re-imagine fairytales and mythology with a queer and dark slant. They gained recognition in 2016 for playing the lead role of Claire Duncan in the fantasy web series Dramaworld. Hewson has a background in theater, having started acting with the Canberra Youth Theatre. They were born and raised in Canberra, attending Alfred Deakin High School and Canberra College.
