Livinia Nixon Biography
Livinia Helen Nixon (born 19 March 1975) is an Australian television presenter and actress. She is best known as the chief weather presenter for Nine News Melbourne. Nixon began her television career in 1995 and joined GTV-9 in 1997. She appeared on the children's show Plucka's Place before co-hosting the iconic Australian show Hey Hey It's Saturday from 1997 until its cancellation in 1999. Nixon has also worked in radio, hosting the drive shift on TT FM with Ed Phillips. She is known for her on-air rapport with Phillips, which led to their hosting of the revamped version of Sale of the Century called Temptation. Nixon has also made appearances on Today, Carols by Candlelight, Micallef Tonight, and co-hosted Weekend Today and the Logies Red Carpet Arrivals from 2008 to 2012.
