Lloyd Bochner
Lloyd Wolfe Bochner (July 29, 1924 – October 29, 2005) was a Canadian actor known for his roles in Canadian and Hollywood productions. He appeared in numerous films from the 1950s to the 1990s, including Point Blank (1967), The Detective (1968), The Young Runaways (1968), Ulzana's Raid (1972), and Satan's School for Girls (1973). Bochner also made notable television appearances, including his role as Mayor Hamilton Hill in Batman: The Animated Series (1992–95) and its follow-up The New Batman Adventures (1997–99). He began his acting career on Ontario radio programs at the age of 11 and later received two Liberty Awards, the highest acting honor in Canada, for his work in Canadian film and theater. Bochner served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II before making his debut in The Mapleville Story (1946) and later moving to New York City to pursue his acting career.
