Lloyd Everitt

Lloyd Everitt is a Welsh actor, born on March 20, 1987. He gained recognition as the youngest actor to portray Othello at Shakespeare's Globe in 2015, at the age of 27. Everitt received a nomination for Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards for his role in the BBC One medical drama Casualty from 2016 to 2017. Hailing from Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, Everitt has a Jamaican mother, Pauline, and a Welsh father, Haydn. He attended Gladstone Primary School and Barry Boys' School before graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2010. Everitt, who was diagnosed with dyslexia, is also an ambassador for the British Dyslexia Association.
