Lola Blanc

Lola Blanc, born Kandice Melonakos on December 20, 1987, is an American singer, songwriter, director, writer, podcaster, and actress. She gained recognition in the music industry, with Playboy labeling her a 'rising star' and Ladygunn Magazine naming her 'one to watch.' Blanc is known for co-writing Britney Spears' hit single 'Ooh La La.' Her acting career includes appearances on TV shows like American Horror Story: Hotel. She has also written articles for Vice.com, covering various topics including ageism in the music industry and her personal experience with a cult leader. In 2019, Blanc co-founded Fatale Collective, an all-female horror filmmaking group, and their debut short film 'Bleed' received acclaim at Fantastic Fest and FilmQuest, earning the Director's Award for Cinematic Achievement in a Short Film. Born in Bavaria, Germany, Blanc was primarily raised on a farm in Fremont, Michigan. She was brought up in the Mormon faith by her Greek-American family.
