Lola Marceli

Lola Marceli, born in 1967, is a Spanish actress known for her roles in both television and film. Raised in Alicante and Málaga, Marceli trained at the Málaga's Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático. She gained early recognition in the 1990s for her portrayal of Mercedes in the soap opera El súper. Her breakthrough role as a self-sacrificing wife in the show established her career. Marceli also received acclaim for her performance as a scorned Spanish woman in the 2001 Australian comedy-drama film La Spagnola, which earned her a nomination for Best Leading Actress at the AFI Awards. She has since appeared in various television series including Hospital Central, Amar es para siempre, and Mercado central.
