    Lonzo Anderson Ball (born October 27, 1997) is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Chicago Bulls in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins, where he earned consensus first-team All-American honors. In the 2017 NBA draft, Ball was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers as the second overall pick. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2018. Prior to his professional career, Ball achieved recognition as a high school player, winning multiple national high school player of the year honors while leading Chino Hills High School to an undefeated season and a top national ranking.
