Lorna Courtney (born October 12, 1998) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Juliet in the Broadway musical & Juliet, earning her a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Raised in the South Ozone Park neighborhood of Queens, New York, Courtney discovered her passion for singing at a young age and overcame her shyness by performing in gospel choirs. She attended LaGuardia High School, specializing in the performing arts, and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre from the University of Michigan. Courtney made her Broadway debut in Dear Evan Hansen, joining the cast as an understudy in May 2019.
