Louis Aguirre

Louis Juan Aguirre (born November 12, 1966) is an American news anchor and former entertainment field correspondent. Aguirre currently works at WPLG Local 10 News Miami as a news anchor. He gained recognition as the co-anchor of Deco Drive, a weeknight entertainment show on WSVN in Miami, FL. Aguirre was born in Miami, Florida to Aida and Louis Juan Aguirre, an engineer. He graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in 1984 and later attended the University of Miami and the Université de Paris at La Sorbonne, earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in French. Aguirre began his TV career at Telemundo in 1989 and joined WPLG in 1990 as a reporter, later becoming a weekend anchor.
