Louis Emerick Grant, also known as Louis Emerick, is a British television actor born on June 10, 1960, in the Toxteth area of Liverpool. He is known for his role as Mick Johnson in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside and his appearances in the BBC soap opera Doctors. With a diverse career, Emerick has portrayed PC Walsh in Last of the Summer Wine and Mike Bateman in Casualty. He has also appeared in popular TV shows like New Tricks, The Bill, Benidorm, Waterloo Road, Cold Feet, and Coronation Street. Emerick has showcased his talent on the big screen as well, with roles in films such as Layer Cake. In addition to his acting career, Emerick participated in the 2008 series of Celebrity Master Chef, finishing in third place.
