Louis Greatorex

Louis Greatorex (born 30 December 1996) is a British actor known for his role as Lawrence Elliot in the BBC1 drama series Last Tango in Halifax since 2012. Born and raised in Duffield, Derbyshire, Greatorex attended the Ecclesbourne School. He began his acting career at a young age, participating in local drama workshops such as the Nottingham branch of the Central Junior Television Workshop. His theatre credits include a role in a pantomime production of Peter Pan and the title role in The Ritual Slaughter of Gorge Mastromas at Nottingham Contemporary. Greatorex also excelled in street theatre, winning the 'miming champion' title at the Derby Arts festival in 2010.
