Louis Zorich Biography
Louis Zorich (February 12, 1924 – January 30, 2018) was an American actor known for his role as Burt Buchman, Paul Buchman's father, on the NBC series Mad About You from 1993 to 1999. Born in Chicago, Illinois to Croatian immigrants, Zorich attended Roosevelt University and the Goodman School of Drama at the Art Institute of Chicago. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Zorich made his Broadway debut in 1961 and was nominated for a Tony Award in 1969. In 1973, he and his wife founded the Whole Theatre Company in Montclair, New Jersey, which operated for 18 years.
