Louisa Clein (born 6 July 1979) is a British actress known for her role as Maya Stepney in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. Born in Poole, Dorset to Jewish parents, Clein attended Talbot Heath School in Bournemouth. She made her television debut in 2001 as Charlie Deed in the BBC series Judge John Deed, and has appeared in shows like Holby City, Doctors, Casualty, and Midsomer Murders. Clein also appeared in the ITV series Island at War in 2004, and has performed in various theatre productions including A Midsummer Night's Dream and My Children, My Africa!.
