Louisa Harland

Louisa Clare Harland is an Irish actress born in either 1993 or 1994. She is known for her role as Orla McCool in the Channel 4 sitcom Derry Girls, which aired from 2018 to 2022. Harland was born in Dublin to a Northern Irish father and has two older sisters. She trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London and made her screen debut in the RTÉ One series Love/Hate in 2011. Harland has also appeared in films such as Standby (2014) and Lost in London (2017). Her portrayal of Orla McCool in Derry Girls has garnered critical and commercial acclaim.
