Louise Sorel Biography
Louise Sorel (born August 6, 1940) is an American actress known for her roles in various television shows and films. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Vivian Alamain in Days of Our Lives from 1992 to 2000, 2009 to 2011, 2017 to 2018, 2020, and 2023. Sorel also played Augusta Wainwright on Santa Barbara from 1984 to 1991 and Emily Tanner on Beacon Hill since 2014. Born in Los Angeles, California, she received theatrical training at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York. Sorel's early career was focused on stage performances, including Broadway productions such as Take Her, She's Mine and Man and Boy.
