Lu Leonard Biography
Lu Leonard (born Mary Lou Price; June 5, 1926 – May 14, 2004) was an American character actress. She appeared in numerous television series, theatre, and briefly in films. Leonard's father was actor Hal Price, known for his work with Republic Pictures. She began her acting career in the early 1950s, with TV roles including Theodosia in the Life of Riley sitcom. Leonard's first major appearance was as the wife of Three Stooges member Larry Fine in the film Husbands Beware. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, she made television appearances on shows like Laverne & Shirley, Mork & Mindy, The Facts of Life, Knight Rider, and Married... with Children. Leonard is best known for her role as Mrs. Pugh in the movie Annie.
