Luca Calvani (born August 7, 1974) is an Italian actor. He first gained recognition as a model, working with prominent fashion brands including Giorgio Armani. Calvani studied acting in New York City, training with Ron Stetson and Susan Batson. In the United States, he appeared in the HBO series Sex and the City (2001) alongside Alan Cumming and Sarah Jessica Parker. He also portrayed the villain Dante Grimaldi on CBS TV's As the World Turns. In Europe, Calvani worked in theatre, TV, and film, including Ferzan Özpetek's award-winning His Secret Life. He is trilingual, speaking Italian, French, and English. Calvani has appeared in films such as The International and the Italian TV series Questo è Amore.
