Lucille Soong Biography
Lucille Soong (born August 15, 1938) is a Chinese-American actress known for her main role as Jenny Huang in the television series Fresh Off the Boat (2015–2020). She began her acting career in the 1960s and has appeared in various films and TV series. Soong moved from Beijing to Hong Kong at the age of 21 and was discovered by director Lewis Gilbert, making her first uncredited screen appearance in his film Ferry to Hong Kong (1959). She later moved to London and had single-episode roles in British film and TV series. In Hollywood, she had minor roles in films such as The Joy Luck Club (1993) and The Corruptor (1999).
