Lucky Daye, born David Debrandon Brown on September 25, 1985, is an American singer-songwriter from New Orleans. He is known for his soulful R&B sound. Lucky Daye is signed to Keep Cool Records and RCA Records. He gained recognition with the release of his EPs 'I' in 2018 and 'II' in 2019, which led up to his debut studio album 'Painted' in 2019. In 2022, Lucky Daye won the Grammy Award for Best Progressive R&B Album for his EP 'Table for Two.' His second album, 'Candydrip,' was released in 2022. Lucky Daye's musical influences include Prince, Rick James, Lauryn Hill, and Stevie Wonder. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
