Lucy Ayoub
Lucy Ayoub (born 21 June 1992) is an Israeli television presenter, poet, and radio host. She gained prominence as a co-host of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Ayoub was born in Haifa, Israel, to an Arab-Christian father and an Ashkenazi Jewish mother who converted to Christianity. She has one brother and three sisters. Ayoub's paternal grandmother was the daughter of Palestinian refugees who sought refuge in Lebanon during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Her maternal grandparents were Holocaust survivors. Ayoub celebrates her diverse heritage by embracing both the Christian and Jewish traditions. She is currently working for Keshet Media Group after previously being associated with the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC).
