Lucy Punch Biography
Lucy Punch (born December 30, 1977) is a British actress known for her appearances in various films and television shows. She has been a part of movies such as Ella Enchanted (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, Dinner for Schmucks (both 2010), and Into the Woods (2014). In addition, Punch is recognized for her role as Amy in Bad Teacher (2011) and as Amanda in the BBC series Motherland. She also portrayed Esmé Squalor in the Netflix series A Series of Unfortunate Events. Punch began her acting career with a debut on the TV show The New Adventures of Robin Hood in 1998. She was educated at Godolphin and Latymer School in Hammersmith, London, and briefly attended University College London before pursuing acting full-time.
