Ludo Lefebvre, born Ludovic Lefebvre on April 18, 1971, is a French Michelin-star chef, restaurateur, author, and television personality. With 12 years of training in France, he later relocated to Los Angeles. Lefebvre has been recognized with the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Award at two different restaurants: L'Orangerie in 1999 and 2000, and Bastide in 2006. He gained further fame through his creation of LudoBites, a multi-city restaurant tour, and the opening of two successful Los Angeles establishments: Trois Mec and Petit Trois. LA Weekly named Trois Mec Best New Restaurant Los Angeles in 2013 and Ludo Best Chef in 2015. Lefebvre was born in Auxerre, Burgundy, and developed a passion for food in his grandmother's kitchen. He began his formal culinary training at 14 at L'Esperance in Vézelay, working under chef Marc Meneau.
