Luis Saguar Biography
Luis Saguar (October 6, 1957 – July 8, 2009) was an American writer, professor, and actor known for his roles in theater and films. He co-founded Campo Santo, a theater company at the Intersection for the Arts. Saguar portrayed a range of characters, including wise elders, terrifying addicts, and strange sidekicks. Some notable films he appeared in include 8mm, Fun with Dick and Jane, and Flawless. In theater, he gained recognition for his performance in 'Santos & Santos', directed by Octavio Solis, where he played one of the corrupt lawyer brothers. Born in San Francisco, California, Saguar grew up in Daly City. He overcame a troubled past involving drug use and criminal activities to pursue his acting career.
