Luke Humphrey Biography
Luke Humphrey (born June 12, 1987) is an American-born Canadian actor. He is best known for his portrayal of John Wayne Bobbitt in the television film I Was Lorena Bobbitt, for which he won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Actor in a Television Film or Miniseries in 2022. Born in California, Humphrey is the son of Canadian actors Mark Humphrey and Wendel Meldrum. He made his acting debut in the 2005 film Cruel but Necessary, sharing the screen with his parents. His other notable works include I Don't Want to Kill Myself (2011), Trench 11 (2017), Frankie Drake Mysteries, Tiny Pretty Things, and the web series Chateau Laurier. Humphrey has also performed in stage productions at the Stratford Festival.
