Lux Pascal

Lux Pascal is an American-born Chilean actress and transgender activist. Born as Lucas Balmaceda on 4 June 1992 in California, Lux is the youngest of four siblings, including actor Pedro Pascal. Her parents were exiled from Chile after the 1973 coup. Lux returned to Chile with her family at the age of three and attended Saint George's College. She studied theater at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile before graduating with a MFA in acting from the Juilliard School in May 2023. In February 2021, Lux publicly announced that she is a transgender woman and changed her name to Lux Pascal. She has been in a relationship with actor José Antonio Raffo since 2011.
