Lydia West

Lydia Dorothy West is a British actress known for her roles in the BBC One series Years and Years and the Channel 4 series It's a Sin, which earned her a BAFTA nomination. Born on June 24, 1993, in London, West comes from a diverse background with Irish and Montserratian heritage. She trained in various forms of dance but shifted her focus to acting after a foot injury. West pursued a degree in business before working as a personal assistant and training part-time at Identity School of Acting. Her breakthrough came with the role of Bethany Bisme-Lyons in the 2019 series Years and Years, followed by her portrayal of Jill Baxter in It's A Sin in 2021, which showcased her versatility as an actress.
