Lydie Denier

Lydie Denier (born 15 April 1964) is a French-American model and actress. Born in Pontchâteau, France, Denier was raised in Martinique and attended the Lycee Shoelcher in Fort-de-France. At the age of 14, she began her modeling career, appearing in magazines such as Vogue and ELLE. Denier then traveled the world, spending time in Africa, the Caribbean, and Germany, where she signed a record deal with Polygram and sang ballads. After visiting Los Angeles on vacation, she decided to stay and pursue an acting career. Denier started appearing in videos and commercials while refining her English skills and studying acting. Her first feature film appearance in the US was in 1988's 'Bulletproof' alongside Gary Busey. She has since appeared in several TV series, including 'General Hospital,' 'The Flash,' 'Starman,' and a guest role in 'Baywatch' in 1991.
