Lynn Harriette Cohen (August 10, 1933 – February 14, 2020) was an American actress known for her roles in film, television, and theater. She gained popularity for portraying Magda in the HBO series Sex and the City, which she also played in the 2008 film and its 2010 sequel. Cohen also appeared as Mags in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and as Mrs. Litvak in The Vigil. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, she came from a Jewish family. Cohen began her acting career in the 1970s, performing in Off-Broadway productions and earning nominations for Drama League and Lucille Lortel Awards. She also appeared in notable Broadway productions such as Orpheus Descending.
