Lynne Adams is an American actress and writer. She is best known for her role as Leslie Jackson Bauer Norris Bauer on The Guiding Light from 1966 to 1971 and again from August 1973 to June 1976. Adams also appeared on The Secret Storm as Amy Kincaid from September 1971 to May 1973. Apart from her acting career, Adams has written and produced several stage productions, including Two Faced, which served as the basis for the feature film Made-Up. In Made-Up, she co-starred with her sister Brooke Adams and brother-in-law Tony Shalhoub, along with Eva Amurri, Gary Sinise, and Lance Krall. Adams comes from a family with a strong acting background, as her parents were both involved in The Guiding Light, and her father held prominent positions in the entertainment industry, such as being a former vice president of CBS. She is also a descendant of presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams.
