Lynne Moody Biography
Lynne Moody, born Emmalyn Paulette Moody on February 17, 1945, is an American film and television actress. She began her career in the early 1970s and is most recognized for her roles as Tracy Curtis-Taylor in the ABC sitcom That's My Mama (1974-1975), Irene Harvey in Roots (1977), Roots: The Next Generations (1979), and Patricia Williams in Knots Landing (1988-1990). Moody was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Evanston, Illinois. She attended Evanston Township High School and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Prior to her acting career, Moody worked as a stewardess and studied acting at the Pasadena Playhouse.
