Lynne Wintersteller

Lynne Wintersteller is an American actress known for her work in the theatre. She gained recognition for her role in the original production of Maltby and Shire's off-Broadway musical Closer Than Ever in 1989. Wintersteller's performance in Closer Than Ever garnered critical acclaim and she received a nomination for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical. She also starred as Mother Jones in Cheryl E. Kemeny's Mother Jones and the Children's Crusade at the New York Musical Festival in 2014. Wintersteller has made appearances in other off-Broadway productions, including The Rise of David Levinsky and I Sent a Letter to My Love. She made her Broadway debut in Rodgers and Hammerstein's A Grand Night for Singing in 1993.
