    Laura Lyn "Lynnie" Greene, also known as Lyn Greene (born May 21, 1954), is an actress, writer, director, and producer in the television industry. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Young Dorothy in The Golden Girls, where she appeared in recurring flashbacks. Greene also co-starred in the short-lived CBS comedy On Our Own in 1977. As an accomplished actress, she originated the role of Emma Goldman in the original off-Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim's Assassins in 1990–91. Additionally, Greene has worked as a writer and executive producer on several series, including Nip/Tuck, BOSS, and the ABC series Scoundrels, a remake of a New Zealand television show.
