Lyric Ross is an American actress known for her role as Deja Pearson in the NBC drama series This Is Us. Raised in Homewood, Illinois, she began her acting career at the age of five, appearing in commercials and guest-starring in shows like Chicago Fire and Sirens. In 2017, Ross joined the cast of This Is Us in a recurring role as Deja Pearson, and later became a series regular starting from season 3. Alongside the rest of the cast, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2018. Ross has also been cast in the upcoming television series Ironheart and serves as a celebrity ambassador for Orphan Myth.
