Lyrica Okano

Lyrica Okano is an American actress known for her role as Nico Minoru in the Hulu original series Runaways. She was born in the early 1990s to parents who emigrated from Tokyo, Japan. Growing up, Okano trained in Olympic gymnastics and almost pursued it professionally until the age of 14. Despite facing bullying in school for being the only Asian-American girl in her class, she managed to form a friendship with fellow actress Yuka Taga. Runaways marked Okano's first major role, where she portrayed the character of Nico Minoru. The show premiered on Hulu and gained popularity among audiences.
