Lyriq Bent, born Martin Lyriq Bent on January 3, 1979, is a Jamaican-Canadian actor known for his roles in the Saw films, Rookie Blue, and The Book of Negroes. He moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of six. Bent has had a successful career in both film and television since the early 2000s. He made guest appearances on shows like Kevin Hill and Kojak before landing a co-starring role in Angela's Eyes. Bent was listed as one of Canada's top rising stars by Playback Magazine. He gained further recognition for his portrayal of Officer Daniel Rigg in Saw II and Saw III. Currently, Bent stars as Jamie Overstreet in the Netflix series She's Gotta Have It.
