Ma Dong-seok Biography
Ma Dong-seok, also known as Don Lee, is a South Korean–American actor. Born on March 1, 1971, he gained American citizenship and lived in Ohio before returning to South Korea to pursue acting. Ma rose to fame with supporting roles in films like The Neighbor and Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time before landing leading roles in Norigae, Murderer, and One on One. However, it was his role in the zombie film Train to Busan that propelled him to international stardom. Ma has since appeared in leading roles in films such as Derailed, The Bros, The Outlaws, Unstoppable, Champion, The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil, The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos, and The Roundup. He was named Gallup Korea's Film Actor of the Year in 2018.
