Machiko Soga

Machiko Soga (1938-2006) was a Japanese actress and voice actress, also known by her stage name Stella Soga. Born on March 18, 1938, in Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan, she had a humble upbringing and was raised to be a singer, but her talents lay in acting. After failing a chemistry presentation during high school, she decided to pursue a career in acting to overcome stage fright. She studied at Tokyo Metropolitan Minamitama High School and later graduated from Tokyo Announce Academy. In 1973, she traveled to Italy for two years to study. Machiko Soga gained recognition after her performance in a play at Tokyo Center, leading her to meet many influential figures and embark on a successful acting career.
