MacKenzie Porter

MacKenzie Lea Porter (born January 29, 1990) is a Canadian country singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained recognition in the music industry with her self-titled album and achieved four number one hits on the Canada Country charts. Porter's notable songs include 'About You', 'These Days', 'Seeing Other People', and 'Pickup'. She also collaborated with Dustin Lynch on the number one hit 'Thinking 'Bout You'. As an actress, Porter is best known for her leading role as a future-sent medic in the television series Travelers. She has appeared in various films and TV shows, including Dinosapien (2007), Hell on Wheels, and Travelers (2016). MacKenzie Porter was raised on a cattle and bison ranch in Medicine Hat, Alberta and began studying music at a young age. She comes from a musical family and toured with her brother, Kalan Porter, who won the 2004 Canadian Idol competition.
