Macon Blair (born 1974) is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, comic book writer, and actor. He gained recognition for his roles in the critically acclaimed films Blue Ruin (2013) and Green Room (2015). Blair was born in Alexandria, Virginia, and began collaborating with childhood friend Jeremy Saulnier on the film Murder Party in 2007. He co-wrote and starred in the dark comedy Small Crimes and made his directorial debut with I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017), which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Blair's talent extends beyond acting, as he has also worked as a director, producer, and screenwriter on various projects.
