Maeve McGuire Biography
Maeve McGuire (born July 24, 1937) is an American actress, best known for her portrayal of Nicole Travis Drake on the soap opera The Edge of Night. She played the role from 1968 to 1974 and from 1975 to 1977. McGuire's character, Nicole, initially started as a schemer but later became one of the show's major heroines. After a year's hiatus, McGuire returned to the show, and her character was paired with a new love interest. In addition to her work on The Edge of Night, McGuire also played Maude Lassiter Palmer on the short-lived nighttime show Beacon Hill. She later appeared as Elena DePoulignac on Another World from 1981 to 1983.
