Magdalena Cielecka is a Polish actress, born on February 20, 1972. She spent her childhood in the small town of Żarki-Letnisko. After graduating from Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Teatralna in Kraków in 1995, she joined the Teatr Stary Theatre Company in Kraków. In 2001, she moved to Warsaw and became a part of the Teatr Rozmaitości Theatre Company. While she initially gained recognition for her work in theatre, Cielecka also made a name for herself in cinema, appearing in films such as Pokuszenie (1995) and L'Élève (1996). She became popular with her roles in Samotność w sieci and the TV series Magda M. In 2008, Cielecka received critical acclaim for her leading role in the adaptation of Kane's 4.48 Psychosis at the Edinburgh International Festival.
