Maggie Ollerenshaw is an English actress known for her role as Mavis in the BBC sitcom Open All Hours (1981-1982) and its sequel Still Open All Hours (2013-2019). Born on October 8, 1949, in Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, Lancashire, England to Joseph and Margaret Ollerenshaw, she has appeared in various other television shows including First of the Summer Wine (1988-1989), The House of Eliott (1992), and Lovejoy (1993-1994). Ollerenshaw portrayed Mrs. Violet Clegg in First of the Summer Wine and gained recognition for her role as Florence Ranby in The House of Eliott. She has also appeared in Coronation Street, Juliet Bravo, and He Knew He Was Right.
