Malachi Kirby

Malachi Kirby is a British actor and writer. He gained prominence through his roles in the 2016 Roots remake and the Black Mirror episode 'Men Against Fire'. Kirby won a BAFTA for his performance in Small Axe: Mangrove (2020). Born and raised in Battersea, London, Kirby discovered his passion for acting during his time at Southfields Academy. He studied at Richmond upon Thames College and trained at the Identity School of Acting. Kirby initially focused on theatre and considers himself a theatre actor 'at heart'. With a diverse heritage that includes West African, South Asian, and European ancestry, Kirby has expressed his interest in doing further research. He continues to make waves in the entertainment industry with his talent and versatility.
